do people really need help like this?
Good question, Yes they do. We are located in a low-access, low-income community otherwise known as a food desert. Many familes here experience food insecurity. That means a family might not have enough food and may not know where their next meal is coming from. We've learned that you can't always look at someone and tell if they have enough food to eat each day. And sometimes, people are choosing between food and other essential items. That's why we're here to help. The goal is to meet the immediate need and then help people focus on the pathway to a better life.
community.
We serve our community together. Here (pictured in the blue sweatshirt), our neighborhood president helps with traffic in the on-site drive-thru line.
Unity.
In a world divided, we unite here to serve. People from all walks of life come here and serve, pray, and find common ground, even laugh a little-together.
